| Sponsored pages or paid mentions | No |
What happens when someone orders
The starlink.com buttons carry Starlink Mini Kit USA’s Starlink referral code. A buyer who clicks one lands on starlink.com and orders there, paying Starlink directly. If that buyer turns out to qualify, Starlink gives them $100 and gives the site the same $100. Starlink's referral terms credit the new customer on the second monthly service invoice. Starlink's help center ties the reward to two months subscribed and says it may be issued from 60 days after activation. Unless you pick cash where Starlink offers it, the reward arrives as account credit taken off your next invoice.
The site never sees the order, the address or the payment. Whether a referral counts is Starlink’s call alone, and Starlink can change or end the program at any time, so nothing here promises a reward.
Guardrails against the obvious bias
A referral pays only for starlink.com orders, so the site has a reason to favor starlink.com over stores, and a reason to want more orders. Three habits push back on that:
- Store prices sit next to starlink.com’s, with dates. Pages compare whole first years, and say plainly that a store wins whenever its year costs less.
- Every page with a button says who shouldn’t order. One-trip and one-season buyers, backup kept mostly in Standby, businesses and fleets, and anyone whose Mini already came from a store. Starlink compares how long referred customers stay (The new customer must be an active user who genuinely intends to stay, and SpaceX compares retention against the country average to spot abuse), and the site would rather lose a click than send the wrong buyer.
- The credit is never shown as money off the kit. It is account credit on later service bills, and year-one totals are shown both with and without it.
Starlink’s qualifying rules, summarized
- The reward is only for people who have never been Starlink customers; existing and returning customers don't qualify.
- A US referral needs a US service address, because the new customer has to be in the referrer's country.
- The kit and plan must be bought directly on starlink.com; store, reseller, used and transferred kits don't earn the reward.
- The new customer has to keep a high-speed plan active through two complete monthly billing cycles; Standby months don't count.
- Only individuals qualify; business, enterprise and Priority-plan accounts don't earn referral rewards.
Any Starlink customer’s referral link works the same way, so a buyer with a friend on Starlink can use that friend’s link instead.
No tie to Starlink
Starlink Mini Kit USA has no affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship from SpaceX or Starlink, and is not a dealer, reseller or partner. More on the site: about, how facts are checked, year one, bill by bill.
